Guest Lecture Aarhus, Denmark · Digital Innovations and Sustainable Development

I recently had the opportunity to deliver a guest lecture as part of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at Aarhus University, Denmark. This innovative program focuses on the intersection of digital innovations and sustainable development, specifically within the fields of architecture and urban planning.

The BIP brings together students and faculty from various institutions through a combination of sessions, fostering an environment of international collaboration. It was organised by the University of Reggio Calabria, Italy together with Aarhus University, PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Belgium and the Universitat de Lleida, Spain. My lecture focused on the advanced applications of Scan to BIM technology, exploring the full spectrum from reality capture to the use of virtual reality in develop processes. The aim was to demonstrate the potential of digital twins and how these digital tools can enhance sustainable development and decision-making.
