Until September 2023, Maurits teaches Crossmedia at the Luca School of Arts in Ghent and is actively involved in teaching new media and media technology on a weekly basis. He is also a member of the research team focusing on educational development within the Crossmedia program. Through Visualdesignart.be he provides his own lessons and materials, including hosting space, to contribute to the development of students’ creative portfolios and relevant knowledge for the field.

Subjects such as HTML/CSS, Unity3D, After Effects, Photoshop, and Adobe-related software are taught in combination with an online environment and knowledge of Content Management Systems, such as ‘WordPress’.

Furthermore, Maurits has experience in installing and setting up websites and webshops for various entrepreneurs, including the Dutch Illustrator Argibald.
